If your walls are in bad condition such as cracked or crumbling plaster then it is recommended to strip off wallpaper and loose plaster and have your walls skimmed to a Straight Edge finish. (I use time served high quality finish plasterers).

I then prep and paint the walls with an emulsion primer and then two coats of wipeable and scrubbable paint.

Woodwork is filled in with two-part wood filler, sanded down electrically if needed, or by hand in the difficult places and then primed and overcoated in a choice of woodwork finish.
